This site was developed by the Ohio Pork Producers Council in partnership with the Ohio Soybean Council. Both organizations are dedicated to animal agricultural in the state of Ohio and throughout the nation.
The Ohio Pork Producers Council's purpose is to serve and benefit Ohio's farmers regardless of size, in the areas of member services, legislative and environmental issues, consumer and producer education, and market development. It is out of that desire, the Ohio Pork Producers Council has dedicated time, effort, and staff to telling the truth about modern pork production. Real farmers of pork will share what life is really like on the farm and why they do what they do.

The Ohio Soybean Council's mission is to maximize the profitability of Ohio's soybean checkoff funds in targeted domestic and international research, promotion and communication initiatives. While focusing on three main areas: Soy Biodiesel, Animal Agriculture, and Composition, the Ohio Soybean Council has made a committed effort at maintaining and increasing the demand for Ohio soybeans. Since livestock and poultry are the number one consumers of soybean meal, contributing $8 billion into Ohio's economy each year, we support and want to disseminate the truth about modern pork production.
