Ohio's Farmers Want You to Know

Hog farmers care about pork production. They buy their groceries from the same stores you do, so why wouldn’t they produce the highest quality product they possibly could? Advances in technology have allowed farms to remain in the family and produce some of the safest, most nutritious food in the world. Family farms have gotten bigger so they can feed not only you and me but the rest of the world too. Today’s farmers specialize in one animal or one stage of an animal’s growth in order to provide the best possible care and attention. One thing that hasn’t changed – the values learned on the farm. It may look different, but farming is still about a simpler way of life.
